Vinculado al descubrimiento de Santa Fe la Vieja, conserva y expone testimonios arqueológicos de la vida cotidiana de la primera población: monedas, medallas, cuentas de collares y rosarios, amuletos, tejas, ladrillos, cerámica española, etc., así como colecciones arqueológicas únicas en su género. Su Fondo Documental cuenta con expedientes civiles y escrituras públicas de os S XVII al XIX y su Biblioteca con 10.000 volúmenes.
This museum relates to the discovery of Old Santa Fe. It conserves and exhibits items that testify to the daily life of Santa Fe’s first inhabitants: coins, medals, necklaces, rosaries, amulets, fabrics, bricks, Spanish ceramics, unique archaeological collections, etc. The museum also has archives of civil records and public writings from the 17th century through the 19th century, and a 10,000-volume library.
